The Everhot control panel is the brains of your cooker and controls the temperature of the ovens and hotplates. It also controls the timing function on the grill. You can switch the Everhot to ECO mode when required and independently control whether ovens and hotplate are on or off in the summer. But remember the Everhot is designed to stay on and it does not save much money to keep turning on and off ECO.
Using the control panel
Each cooking zone has its own control section on the panel. This means you can turn zones on and off and allows you to change the temperature settings. You can also check the temperature of each zone by pressing the down and up arrows together.
To operate any button on the control panel press for one second until the temperature setting changes and then release the button. Press and hold means you won’t inadvertently change the temperatures when cleaning the control panel.
Hot and simmer plate control
These controls are locked to prevent them being accidentally turned on. The LOCK Φ (top left on panel above) must be pressed for 1 second before the hot and simmer plates can be turned on.
Control panel diagram
The mains power LED is located in the top right hand corner and lights up when power is supplied to the cooker.
Lock Button Φ
The lock button is used to switch the control panel on, put it in standby, and unlock the hot and simmer plates.
- To switch the control panel on, press and hold the lock button for 1 second until the display turns on.
- To put the control in standby, press and hold the Lock button for 5 seconds until the display turns off (each display will show a dash).
- To unlock the hot and simmer plate controls, press and release the LOCK button. The hot plate and simmer plate LEDs flash for approximately 4 seconds indicating that the plates can now be turned on. Before the hotplate LED stops flashing, press and hold the plate On/Off button for about 1 second, then release it. The temperature then can be adjusted as normal.
Cooking zones On/Off buttons
Each cooking zone has its own On/off button. Press and hold for around 1 second until the temperature setting display changes. Release the button. The following zones have their own On/Off button and controls:
- Top oven
- Bottom oven
- Hotplate
- Simmer plate (not 1101, 120i and 150i)
- Right oven (1101,110Plus,120i/150i only)
Note the 110plus bottom oven has a fixed temperature and this has a separate On/Off button located below the controller.
Cooking zone status lights
The status light next to a cooking zone On/Off switch is off when the zone is switched off. The light is on when that cooking zone is switched on. The light will be green when on and red when the cooker is heating up to reach the set temperature. An orange light shows the cooker is in ECO mode. If the orange light flashes it shows that heating is required but that the ECO mode is currently heating a higher priority zone.
Adjustment arrows
The arrows ∇ Δ under each cooking zone allow you to increase or decrease the temperature by 5ºC intervals. Press and hold for 1 second for a 5ºC increase or decrease and release. Further presses of 1 second each increase/decrease by 5ºC. To change temperature more rapidly press and hold the relevant arrow (up or down).
Grill control
The Grill On/Off button is situated on the left hand side of the control panel in the middle (see above). Press the grill On/Off button for 1 second to show the default grill timer on the top oven display (where the grill element is situated).
Press the adjacent arrows to adjust the grill time. (link)
Press the grill On/Off button for 3 seconds to switch the grill on and off. The top oven display will then display the grill timer (the point in the timer will flash to indicate the timer is counting down.) The grill light will be red when the grill is on.
ECO button
The ECO button (which looks like a Christmas tree) is situated at the right hand side and middle of the control panel (see above), and allows you to adjust the ECO settings for the Everhot.
Press ECO to scroll between ECO ON, ECO AUTO and ECO OFF modes. Press the ECO button for 3 seconds to enter ECO programming mode. The green ECO light next to ECO button is off when ECO is off and on when ECO is on. Each zone will also display the word ECO, alternately with ECO set temperature.
FLASHING ECO
When ECO mode is in AUTO mode, ECO will automatically switch on and off at predetermined times. The default setting when your Everhot is delivered to you is to switch to ECO at 9pm (2100 hours) and to switch off at 5am (0500 hours).
The timer automatically adjusts for British Summer Time (BST) on newer Everhot models.
